What are DFY lecture slide decks?

DFY slide decks are what we call “Done For You” presentations. My team member will create a 100+ slide presentation (including presenter notes) on any enrichment or destination subject matter you may choose.

Who is best served with the DFY slide decks?

This is for the busy speaker who has the ability, however, does not have the time or patience to put together the PowerPoints required for a cruise.

Alternatively, from time to time, Cruise lines have last minute requests for speakers, and you do not have the content available for this cruise, this is where we come in with a 7-10 turnaround and get you the slide decks you require.

How does it work?

You send me the titles of the lectures you require, and my team member goes to work immediately and creates the PowerPoint Presentation.

What topics can your Team member cover?

Any subject matter or destination, no matter how obscure.

How long does it take to create the DFY slide deck once the order is placed?

It normally takes 7-10 days to create a 100+ slide deck that is 90% complete.

Why do you say the slide decks are 90% complete?

This is very important: You must take the slide deck and add your personal style to the flow of the talk.

The slide deck is technically complete; however, the next step (the 10%) is to add your soul to the presentation by tweaking it to your style and flow.

How much is my investment?

As Roger Killen, a SCFF graduate has stipulated, “it usually requires 40 hours of work to create a 40-minute lecture and that is a general rule of thumb”. With that in mind, your investment is $350 USD for a 100+ slide deck including presenter notes.

Do I own the slide deck?

Yes, you do. You can reuse the slide decks over and over again if you decide to revisit the region again. As an example, Sarah and I have cruised the Caribbean several times and have reused the PowerPoints on each occasion.
