Neil Stillman
Geologist | Former National Park Ranger | Storyteller
Cruise Speaker Academy
In retirement, he served seven seasons as an Interpretation Ranger at Grand Teton National Park and received the National Park Service STAR Award. His talks there, including The Day the Mountain Fell and The Power of Gold (with a gold-panning demonstration), drew audiences of all ages.
Neil makes the landscape come alive. As the ship sails into Santorini, he explains that its towering cliffs are the wall of a volcano that exploded over 4,200 years ago, possibly sparking the legend of Atlantis.
He’s a Certified Interpretive Guide, a lifelong trumpet player and a Scout leader, and he brings warmth, humor and a ranger’s love of a good story to every talk.
