Adele Thorne has been an adventure seeker since she was 15 years old. She is an enthusiastic speaker and loves sharing her knowledge and experiences with others. She also has a keen sense of humor and always wants her audience to leave super excited about their next destination.
She has a teaching degree from the University of Manitoba and Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. Adele is a published author of poetry and enjoys painting and teaching meditation. She has created meditation audios that she put out on Soundcloud for other to enjoy.
Adele is presently a registered Psychologist and Educator in Vancouver, Canada . She loves living there as she is active in outdoor sports such a skiing, boating, and powerwalking. Adele has been a travel bug all her life. New destinations and the history they hold, fascinate her. She has worked part time for travel agencies in Canada and Australia.
Adele is also a registered Psychologist in Australia. She has travelled Australia extensively and has lived in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Gold Coast. Her knowledge of history and travel in Australia is extensive.
Adele started working on cruise ships in 2016 and she has never looked back. Her first speaking cruise took her from San Francisco to Sydney Australia with Princess. She has worked with many different cruise lines since.

I have been an active cruise ship speaker since 2016. I have worked with Princess, Holland America and Celebrity. I usually do both special interest and destination talks. My cruises have taken me to Australia, South America, Iceland, Europe, Alaska and more. I have presented over 50 speeches. So far in 2025, I have spoken on Barcelona/ Morocco, Canary Is, Mediterranean, British Isles/Iceland and two Iceland intensives. I am flexible in my presentations and always upgrading them to reflect current times and events. Video, music and humor add sparkle to my talks. I always aim to leave my audience informed, excited and “gung ho” for their next cruise adventure.
